What kind of fitness classes does Havyn offer?
How hot are the classes at Havyn?
What is the minimum age to attend Havyn classes?
The minimum age to attend Havyn hot classes ranges between 14 and 16 years old. Before bringing your child or teenager to the studio, please contact manager@havynhot.com to see if they are ready.
Determinants to know if your child is ready? If they wear deodorant (that means they are sweating/post-pubescent and can likely safely practice in the hot room); if they are already active and interested in using yoga to cross-train for another activity (this shows they’re already in tune with their bodies and can more easily regulate their heat and energy levels).
The minimum age to practice without a legal guardian present is 18 years old.
Can I use my membership and class cards at all Havyn locations?
Yes! Havyn Memberships are interchangeable.
Can I store a personal mat at all Havyn locations?
No. If you are on a Freedom membership, you may store 1 mat at your home studio location. ***Other memberships do NOT include mat storage.
If pay for a mat rental as part of my membership, can I access them at any location?
Yes, mat rentals apply the same way across locations.

Do you have an Intro offer for new students?
Yes! New students can purchase our Intro Month – 28 days of classes for $59+tax. This Intro Month Pass does not include mat or towel rentals, but those can be added on to the month for an additional $40. Sign up for the Intro Month here!
I’m new to hot classes. As a beginner, what Havyn class should I start with?
How do I sign up for classes at Havyn?
You can sign up for Havyn classes using the Havyn app or on the Havyn website. Classes can fill up, so always remember to sign up ahead of time to save your spot! If you can’t make it to a class you signed up for, cancel your reservation on the app or website more than 4 hours before the class start time to avoid a no show/late cancellation penalty.
What should I wear to Havyn classes?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move and sweat in. Lightweight, breathable workout clothes are best for heated classes. Bring a change of clothes if you’d like to feel fresh after class.
What should I bring to a Havyn class? Do you offer mat or towel rentals?
Always bring a yoga mat, towel, and water bottle to Havyn classes. We also recommend bringing a change of clothes for after class. If you do not have a yoga mat or towel, we have both available for purchase or rent at the studio.
Do you have showers or lockers?
Our Jericho location Has showers, and our UBC location does NOT have showers. Both have mat and towel rentals and both have lockers.
What are some of the benefits of taking hot yoga and hot pilates classes?
Havyn classes build strength and flexibility. They also make us more aware of our breath, which ultimately helps to relax and calm the body and mind. People who practice regularly often notice that they are able to better handle stress, have increased focus, are more in-tune with their bodies, and have increased balance as well as strength. Often Havyn classes can be safely incorporated with a physiotherapy regime, and can be very complimentary with chronic pain management.
Where do I park?
Jericho – Enjoy free parking options both in our lot and along nearby streets! The street-level parking lot offers 1-hour free parking, while street parking on Alma Street allows for up to 2 hours. Ground-level parking also provides 90 minutes free.
UBC – Street and parkade parking is available all around this central hub.
Chinatown: Please check nearby street parking and paid lot options before class, or contact the Chinatown studio if you have questions about the best place to park.
Where is Havyn located? What landmark should I look for??
We have 3 locations to choose from, and yes they are interchangeable with your pass.
Jericho Studio is located in Jericho Village Plaza at the corner of Alma and 4th Street, above No Frills and BCL.
UBC Studio is located in the heart of Wesbrook Village.
Chinatown Studio is located in the former Vancity Yoga space, right in the heart of Chinatown at 255 E Pender St, Vancouver, BC V6A 1T8.
GENERAL PRACTICE FAQ
What happens if I miss a class I signed up for?
No showing or late canceling a class will result in a loss of credit or $20 charge. If you’re unable to attend a class you’ve signed up for, please cancel your reservation (on the website or Havyn app) more than 4 hours before the class begins to avoid a penalty.
What happens if I’m running late for class?
Stuff happens – we get it! But unfortunately, latecomers will not be admitted into the studio once class has started. Every class starts and ends on time to help provide a peaceful experience for all. Thanks for your understanding!
What happens if I’m added to a waitlist?
I’m going away for a few weeks, is it possible to suspend my membership?
If I need to, how do I cancel my auto-renewing membership?
I accidentally left my water bottle or yoga mat at the studio, how do I get it back?
We have a lost-and-found at the studio, just ask the front desk or email us to let us know what you lost! We keep items for one month before they are donated. Havyn is not liable for missing or stolen items. All valuables should be left in a locker during class. Mats stored at the studio MUST be labeled with your full name.
What’s your policy on pass extensions or refunds?
How does the guest pass work?
Your guest pass allows you to bring a friend to experience a class with you at Havyn Hot. It’s our way of sharing the love and introducing new faces to the studio!
Do I need to be with my guest when using my guest pass?
Yes! Since this is a guest pass, not a solo pass, your guest must attend class with you. Think of it as a yoga buddy system—good vibes are better shared!
What if I can’t make it—can my guest still come?
Unfortunately, the guest pass is designed for you to attend together, so it can’t be used if you’re not there. But no worries—just reschedule for a time that works for both of you! 😊
